Dino and David had begun playing at the Monterey Beach Resort, where there was room for David's Hammond organ as well as the piano/synth combo David usually plays with the duo. The audience response was overwhelming (relatively speaking...) and folks kept asking if we "had a CD" for sale. Eventually we decided to record one.
The recording was done at The Soundsmith, David's recording studio. Engineered and mixed almost entirely by the lads, with a bit of help from master engineer Vince Sanchez when the complexity of the sound needed an uninvolved observer, the resulting compilation was an immediate success with our audiences, and continues to be today. Listen for yourself, hear the good vibes, and order your copy today.
Named for a city in Mozambique, this Marcus Miller composition offers a smooth groove.
